Frederick John Kiesler, (born Sept. 22, 1892, Vienna, Austria—died Dec. 27, 1965, New York, N.Y., U.S.), Austrian-born American architect, sculptor, and stage designer, best known for his “Endless House,” a womblike, free-form structure. After study at the Technical Academy and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Kiesler worked on a slum clearance and rebuilding project in Vienna with Adolf Loos.
